Away Trips Checklist

 Committee

  • Set date for the trip
  • Take numbers to travel and stay
  • Prebook Hostal
  • Inform CCC of numbers for the host team
  • Remind Coaches to setup players in Foireann
  • Ensure Kit and Kit Bag is prepared (contact Coaches)
  • Advise Rugby club if it affects our attendance there
  • Advise parents or groups if training times have changed or are affected
  • After event PRO to collect info and publish results
  • Request Referee to submit MATCH REPORT (if hosting the event)

Players

  • Confirm attendance
  • Boots
  • Gum Shield
  • Gloves (if needed)
  • Passport
  • Send fees to Club Treasurer in advance
  • If available checkin online in advance (Committee will advise)
  • Travel – If there are drivers please contact each driver to arrange collection and return.
  • Most drivers will know who is local and convenient and will have this determined.
  • We have begun using a bus as we have so many players now. We used: TRANSPORTE VIATIS-MOVVIENDO –  +34 630 02 00 08 – They were good and we booked them via whatsapp.
  • If you encounter an issue with travel to or from the pitch please contact the drivers and try to make arrangements yourself for travel and return
  • If stuck for travel arrangements please contact the committee for help after exhausting all other options.

 

Coach – Ladies

  • If a player is not on Foireann contact Club Secretary
  • Create Teamsheet
  • Send Teamsheet to CCC
  • Send Teamsheet to Referee
  • Print Teamsheet and number each player for Referee
  • Ensure Club Kit is packed and clean

Ensure this equipment is packed and ready:

  • 2 size 4 O’Neills footballs
  • 2+ Size 4 Inter County Training Balls
  • NAMES on the footballs!
  • Bibs for Subs
  • Bibs for Officials
  • Player Count
  • Number Players staying over
  • Number traveling back the same day
  • Send all info to Club Secretary

 

Coach – Men

  • If a player is not on Foireann contact Club Secretary

  • Send Teamsheet to CCC
  • Send Teamsheet to Referee
  • Print Teamsheet and number each player
  • Ensure Club Kit is packed and clean

  • Bibs for Subs

  • Number traveling back the same day
  • Send all info to Club Secretary

 

Event Costs (typically)

  • €10 per person for the match (including burger and a beer)
  • All Passengers give a driver €10/€15 each for tolls and petrol and overnight parking
  • The hostel is €20 *approximately (Hostal is clean, cheap and cheerful)
  • Total Cost: €45 *approximately
