The Competition

The Gaelic Andalusian League is a regional Gaelic football competition based in the south of Spain, promoting Irish sport and culture across Andalusia. It brings together a vibrant network of clubs made up of both Irish expatriates and local players passionate about Gaelic games. The league typically features teams such as Costa Gaels (Marbella), Sevilla, Lisbon, Gibraltar, Malaga, and Marbella.

The League runs from September to January and the championship from January to May with friendlies, blitzes and invitationals all across Spain and Europe in between.

Played in a friendly but competitive spirit, the league showcases the growth of Gaelic football in mainland Europe and serves as a vital social and sporting hub for the Irish diaspora and international community in the region.
