Gaelic Football Rules

For the new guys to the game the rules in GAA Foootball can be a little strange and unfamiliar. In fact they are strange and unfamiliar to most of us who have been playing for a while so its a good idea to have a read at the rules here, cause that’s what we will be using when we play… usually anyway but not always.

Its a good idea to ask either Gordon or Seamus what the rules are but NEVER EVER ask them at the same time and when they are within range of overhearing each other, that is, unless you want to get caught in the verbal cross fire about hand passing and throwing which eventually digresses into a sparing competition about GAA historical county knowledge and some obscure game played 43 years 6 months and 3 days ago at 2:45 in the afternoon between 3 donkeys and a small boulder and they will both disagree about who scored the winning point.

Honestly, I have heard it with my own ears, and its true.

I digress.  Back to the RULES of the GAA.
